Surgical procedure to reduce the acne scars is called Dermabrasion. In dermabrasion a wire brush or a diamond wheel with rough edges is used to remove the upper layers of the skin. This procedure is typically performed in a professional medical setting by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon.
Dermabrasion is basically a skin-smoothing surgery that makes use of a rapidly rotating device to smooth the outer layers of your skin. The surgery helps reduce the appearance of fine lines of facial to improve the marks of scars caused by acne or pimples. It can be performed alone or along with other cosmetic surgeries.
After dermabrasion, skin appears younger and smoother. The surgery is performed either by plastic surgeons or dermatologists.
Likewise, there are other procedures for skin improvement, such as laser surgery, the injection of fillers, moderate to deep skin peels, etc.
